Turn the tension wheel on the handle -- left to loosen,
or right to tighten -- until the bristle wheels spin with
moderate resistance. |

If the bristles pull too hard when you start to brush, turn the tension wheel LEFT to LOOSEN them a bit. If they spin too easily, turn the tension wheel RIGHT to TIGHTEN. |

Start brushing hair in long strokes from the top of the head to the ends of the hair -- keep the
brush HORIZONTAL. As tangles begin to disappear increase the pull of the bristles by turning the tension wheel RIGHT. |
